Popping In
Another day. Another loaf.
March has flown by. People always said time goes by faster the older you get. It certainly seems true, even though it's not in actuality. Did we simply not pay attention when young? Probably.
I know what you mean. It passes so fast. I remember as a kid how long summer seemed. Sitting in class the second hand never seemed to move. Now, you are, right...blink and you miss it.
A slightly different bread from the Italian loaf. 3-1 ration all purpose and white whole wheat. No milk or olive oil.
LOVE the bake. Looks amazing. Home bread, so good. I don't know about the time going by. Maybe we think we have more as kids? Or like you said, don't pay attention as much. That could be too!

Have had a few discussions with kids about the passage of time. We decided that when you're a kid, a year is a lot longer because, for example, if you're six, a year is 1/6 of your life. If you're me, a year is 1/63. A big difference, and it makes sense when you think of it like that.
I don't eat a lot of bread, but I love a good sourdough hot from the oven with a bit of butter dipped in my clam chowder.
What a great looking loaf! I heard someone say that it our experiences and memories that fills up our time and make time seem to go faster. When we are young time seems to go by so slowly because we don't have much to recall.
Time flies... I just run with it, at least that's how it seems to me :-)) Your bread looks delicious. I have two loaves of bread in the oven right now because Easter visitors are coming. The cake is already baked. I am happy. Happy Easter to you and yours.

I eat bread in the morning and at lunch. Probably every day. I like sourdough but am a terrible keeper of starter. I'll stick with yeast!

Far Side, that makes sense. So maybe it will slow down if I do a memory dump? Probably not, I'd just end up in memory care!
