I can unequivocally assure all this was not how we welcomed in the New Year!

More's the pity.

Casa Sandra was quiet both days. Mark spent all of yesterday working outside. I spent it nursing a painful back. I bought a bottle of zero alcohol sparkling rose and found it not too bad. I enjoyed it for two days! I have continued to take the strong warning against alcohol with Wellbutrin seriously.

We got a very light dusting of snow on the 30th, so it almost looked like winter over the past two days. That was nice. Now....onward into another year.

Interesting take on wine! Remove the alcohol. Very wise to observe the interaction warnings about your meds, good for you.

I'm so glad you are heading those warnings!

That glass is beautiful! I met with my neighbors and had coffee on NY's eve in the AM. That was a great way to be out and about and yet enjoy the end of a year with familiar faces.

Ouch on the back. Have you been alternating with both heat and ice? Or is it more of the piriformis issue.
I get it. You do not have to answer me at all on that issue.

Hopefully you start to feel much better. But this is the time of the year to enjoy the indoors!

:)

Boud, it's the first time I've had alcohol free wine. Not as good as the real thing but still good. The chance of seizures is more worrisome than not having my daily glass or two of wine.

Val, I have always like good crystal! My back is related to the piriformis. The pain isn't going down my leg anymore, it's stuck in my rlower right side of my back, just above that little bastard. I use a message on it. I went to a Chiro when it first started happening. The cure was worse than the ailment and didn't seem to do much more for me than what I do myself. I have no idea why it keeps happening.

You finally got some snow! Happy New Year! I have sit bone pain on my left side, I have had it for years. They finally decided that my left leg is shorter than my right because of an injury and they made it worse in PT. I try to do stretching exercises in bed and if I do it ALL the time it isn't too bad. Getting older sucks. Hang in there.

It's always something. I can't believe how much body change has taken place in the past two years. All the work we have done caring for our horses and farms has finally caught up with us. We were supposed to have sunshine today and it was only here for a few seconds. It did get over freezing tho, and all the snow melted. I use a heating pad on my back every morning before I go out to the barn and it sure feels good....makes a difference. Happy New Year! Glad the alcohol free wine tasted pretty good!

Your holiday was spent the same as our own -- home alone with no family visiting and it was a welcome break as we munched and watched movies both days, a perfect year-end.

Sounds like a good years ending. I hope 2024 is good for you.

Far Side, yes it does! I do a lot of stretching, which does help in general but when that muscle pinches it's bad. Ah, well... btw, the snow is gone!

Lori, a friend who used to work here with me told me once when I was talking about the pain that I have been pretty well beat up by my job. It's true. So I guess a poor career choice! All kinds of big deal winter things are being cancelled in MN because no snow or ice on lakes. Bad news. I use a heating pad and a message every day, it does feel good.

Beatrice, I felt the same way, a perfect way to end the year! Happy 2024 to you.

e, thank you. I wish the same for you and Mercy.

That's a great picture of you with your dog!

😂

...Did the original have the dog with Marilyn?

Thanks, Sandi! We think so, too. :)

Sorry about the painful Back, since that kind of Pain is excruciating. Good idea not to mix that particular Rx with alcohol tho', I agree. Onwards to another Year, may it hold much Promise for us all.

I hope life settles down for you, Dawn. A good year would be welcome.
