Rerun

I am mushy brained today, I didn't sleep much last night. I was looking through 2010 for something and came upon this post. A breeder and vet, she lost her mind over a young trainer. Her sister had stopped by and said this person was in a mental health care center, completely removed from reality. Her visit prompted the post.

I am tired today too. I woke up in the middle of the night and had those brain invading thoughts. You know, the ones you can't fix in the dark.

What an interesting post. I like that style of writing. Well done.
Thanks for that.

Wow! You are one amazing writer! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Val....Speaking of waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to turn off your brain! It sure happens to me off and on. I have decided that when I am tired I will take a nap, or at least rest and do nothing. Sometimes it creates an unusual schedule, but I roll with it. By the way....I am really enjoying the blogging relationship you,, Sandra and I have. Would love to spend some time with you.

Your post has brought me to tears. Your writing, your ability to tell a story is as good as any I have read.
Take Care,

What a story. And so sad. Sometimes when I wake up in a storm and can't get back to sleep, my brain starts to "think too hard" about things. A tragic story.

Val, I've had sleep issues since childhood. I do so much better the past few years but still will have a night a couple of times a month were I can't sleep. The older I get, the more it wipes me out. I hope you slept well last night. I did.

Lori, I was looking for something else when I came upon this story. I remembered it like it was yesterday. She so debased herself for several years. It was so sad, I knew her personally and could not believe this was the same person. I've never witnessed the unraveling of a person like this before or after.

Who knows, it could happen. My friend, julochka, lives in Denmark. I met her and her family in person in 2010 and continued to see her about once a year for 9 years. So....could happen, my friend!

Kaye, at the time it was a raw emotion. This was also pre-brain injury when I was able to express myself better. Thank you for you very kind words, it's appreciated.

Miss Merry, it was tragic. I believe she died within a year of this post. She completely lost herself.

It takes all kinds of people to make the world go round. Sad that someone so talented ends up in a mental health facility.

Far Side, very true. At the time this was happening it was sad and she was the talk of the Arabian show world. I'd basically forgot about it until I read this again. Brought it back briefly.

Her ending up in a mental health facility explains a lot about her intense fascination with the young man. Poor woman. I'm glad those days are long gone for me.

I hear you on that, Pixie! She was late 60s-early 70s when this started. Something went wrong with her.
