1. I'm thankful for feeling better, but wishing I felt well!
2. I'm thankful Mark and Deb are here to help me.
Being ill is a very self-absorbed sensation. I can't seem to drum up any other thoughts than my own condition. But, I am truly thankful for the above and will let it rest at that.

Sandra, I haven't commented on your blog before, but I felt I needed to because your symptoms sounded so much like mine when I had appendicitis. I waited several days because I was feeling a little bit better, but my appendix did rupture and I was quite sick and was in the hospital several days and on strong antibiotic for at least two week at home. Not to scare you, but it might be worth looking into.
I only went to the Dr. because of the very strong urgings of my dear sweet daughter. She said if I didn't go, she would come to my house and take me kicking and screaming to the hospital. As you can see, I'm not a fan of hospitals and doctors.
I hope I haven't overstepped my grounds in giving so much advice, but I must admit, I wonder what would have happened if Ashley had not been so insistent.
Hope you feel better and if you're all well I hope you will forgive this rambling bit of advice.
By the way, I'm thankful that Ashley has met you on the blogsphere and I enjoy seeing your beautiful horse. Take care.
Dianne (Ashley's Mom)
Hey Dianne, sounds like we are cut from the same cloth.
I will be careful, but with the state of our health care system, we pay for all of our medical bills up to $5,500 so I am careful about when I go to the DR. I had a lot of wracking dry-heaves, so it seems natural that my body would be sore. If I continue to feel discomfort I will go to the DR.
You can say whatever you want to me, don't worry about that. This is an open blog and I enjoy opinions and advice. And you and Ashley are probably right and in the end I will likely have to see a dreaded MD!
I'm really pleased to have met Ashley and her family and friends. Please feel free to respond if you wish. The internet can be an amazing thing.
OK, I've revised my plan. My friend Beth (hillsidefarm) recommended me to her clinic, right here in Watertown, that is a stand alone family practice. NO HMO! So, if I'm not improved by tomorrow I will call in the morning to make an appointment.
I stubborn, opinionated and sometimes cranky, but I'm not stupid, so I can take advice when it makes good sense.
Sandra, sounds like a good plan. I do know about insurance, ours is $10,000 deductible. So believe me, I do understand the financial ramification. But I still think it sounds like a good idea.
Dianne
Still feeling lousy, so I have an appointment at 11:00 tomorrow.
Are you running fever? If you start spiking a fever you might need to go in sooner. With me, my appendix was still intact when I had the scan, but by the time (just a few hours) I had the surgery it had ruptured. Just be diligent about your symptoms. I'm taking this liberty because you said you didn't mind opinions and advice. I promise I won't make this a habit.
Dianne
Dianne, if you knew me you would know I don't say anything just to be polite. If I say I welcome opinions, I do! Don't worry about offending me, I have relatively thick skin and an intact sense of humor. And no one can be offended by another's concern. Thank you.
I don't have a fever and I'm not nauseous anymore. My gut hurts in the area of the appendix, so I think it's worth checking out. It could be nothing and I hope it is.
thinking of you today...:) hope the appt. goes well, and there are no major issues.

I feel better but I will keep my appointment because I think it's best to know. Thanks for the good thoughts Christy.
