Grumble, Grumble. Life is a Tumble

I had an appointment yesterday with Mark's primary. I saw her once before about six weeks ago. We are trying Celebrex for pain. She mentioned seeing someone in pain management. I had done that at the prior clinic and it was a joke. She assured me this would be better. We agreed to wait on the results of the new pain med. I am cautiously liking her, I don't know if she is doing the same!

The social butterfly that I am, I'll be venturing out two days in a row. I need to renew my drivers license, which is expired. I have an appointment today, an opportunity for a new mugshot. Joy to the world.

The time change has me out of sorts, more than usual. I am a proponent of staying on standard time year round. It does give us something to grumble about for at least a month (the whole time we are on DST). We are both excellent grumblers.

The flowers are lovely. Unlike the time change which I don't handle well.

In 1999, I was given Celebrex and it turned out I was allergic to the sulfanomide in it and until then, I'd had "no known allergies'. For the 3 weeks I took it, my hips, knees, and ankles took turns swelling and I couldn't stand for more than 20 minutes. That lead to a diagnosis of lupus and learning that most lupus patients become allergic to sulfa.

I hope the Celebrex works well for you!

I am trying generic cymbalta for my arthritis pain along with naprosyn is seems to help a bit. Those little roses are beautiful! Hope your new Dr is a keeper and helps you with the pain.

I don't think my paltry 3 hours last night was due to the time change, but I'll grumble regardless. I don't think it was; it doesn't usually affect me too much.

I, too like Standard time not DST.
I have a friend who was placed on Celebrex after many tries at other meds and it has worked very well for her. I hope it works well for you.
Will you have to take the driving portion of test to renew your license? My last photo was so bad that I thought they had put the wrong person on my license.
Take Care,
Kaye

A grumble or more is fine, Sandra, and while I too do not see WHY we need to change clocks 2X a year, it did not bother me. I did set them ahead earlier on Saturday so all day it was later than I thought and maybe that wasn't such a bad plan?

I sure hope the meds work for you. I don't know what to say about the pain clinic, I even wonder how that works? Do they talk your pain away?

Did you tell her about your tumble?

Grumbling about the time change is just fine. I'd wish they stick with one time and just have it throughout the year. There are a few states that do that.

Boud, this rose is Allegra. She went to rose heaven a few years ago.

Barbara Anne, thank you for this information. I will be aware if I feel any of this.

Far Side, She put me on that 6 weeks ago. It did help with pain but not depression. So yesterday she put me back on Wellbutrin and trying Celebrex for pain. It's good to know it's helping you. She has been good so far.

AC, grumble away. I was a poor sleeper since childhood. I finally several years ago came across melatonin and it has worked really well for me. three hours is miserable.

Kaye, why don't the powers listen to we very smart people and leave the time alone!
I hope it works, it will take a little time for me to know, I imagine.

No, but I did have to take the written test. I passed, had a mugshot and left legal once again. I understand how you felt, I had a photo on my license that looked like a man. I'm not kidding!!

Lori, I will. I would like to be at least half myself again.

Dorothy, I think that is a good idea and if I remember will do that next time. I am an excellent grumbler!

Val, I found the prior pain clinic useless. It will be a last resort. Yes, I told her about the fall. She can see how unsteady I am. I do some house walking but I need to do more. If and when my back pain eases I will start some of what had been regular exercises in my day again. I have become weakened.

I prefer standard time. I know Arizona and Indiana do not have a time change, they stay on standard time.

I hate the time change. Just pick a time and stick to it. I can't sleep, I wake up early, whine, whine, whine, whine.

Miss Merry, grumble, grumble, grumble, grumble ;) I agree with you!

What beautiful roses ... summer joy. I love it.
Time change, if I could choose, I would immediately be against it. But no one asks me :-)
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that the pain will somehow get better.
A hug for you.
P.S. the opera house is really great and I have started using it again for many years now and am very happy about it.
Kind regards to you.

It seems that doctors don't want to deal with pain issues. And will send you off to pain specual.

No one asks me, either! The opera house is absolutely stunning, I go there as often as possible.

Dora, they have a difficult time with anything which is not easily diagnosed. A lot of this comes down to time, the work an assembly line.
