Hot. Humid.

What happened with leftover pork chops.

Wednesday and Thursday were moderate in temperature and humidity. I spent both afternoons on the lawn tractor. We are now back into high heat and humidity, so all my grand outside plans are on hold. It's been disappointing that when it's nice outside that we cannot sit on the deck or porch. The black flies are awful. They swarm. I need to clean up the screened-in cat porch. That's what I have been telling myself. Often. I don't listen even to myself.

As is blatantly obvious, I got nothin', so I think I'll sign off and quietly go about, whatever.

We had noseeums for the first time ever this spring. Black fly next?

The flies are about the worst I've seen. The mosquitoes are also demonic. And the gnats. Enjoying the outdoors is becoming difficult. Let us hope the black flies stay away from your abode.

Those leftover pork chops look kinda scrumptious.

The tiny gnats are bad here...noseeums I guess, darn they can bite. I have an outdoor tent room that I could put up if I had the energy:)

AC, pretty good stuff. Leftovers sort of rule around here.

Far Side, there be the rub, energy!

One of the things I did with Charlie and I on our porch -- not screened in was to set up a couple of fans to push out the flies and gnats. It sort of works.

Leftovers. I've been doing pull BBQ pork sandwiches with my left over Pork chops. I love it more that way!
Hot and humid is dropping in on us too.
Yuck.

Your weather is headed our way, but today and tomorrow we have a reprieve. Big yum!!!!!

Val, I can see that would help. I sat on the front porch this afternoon, got too hot. Went inside.

Pulled pork chop, that's something I hadn't considered!

I'm sorry we keep doing this to you, Lori! It's miserably hot and Mark insisted on pulling vines out of bushes and trees. He is sweating profusely. I reorganizing my bathroom, all the makeup I never wear is being resorted. You never know, I may go somewhere!

Yes, supposed to be 80s to low 90s for the next ten days or so--so far. Awk!
I've been in an activity slump, myself. Stay cool! :)

Rita, it's hard to motivate lately. I got some organization done yesterday. What I do today depends on whether I turn on the ac and if it works if I do. Stay inside.

Deer flies, smaller files with big bites, lots of hornets and wasps of all sizes all biting. There is a belief that the higher the hornets/wasps nest the less snow there will be in the coming winter. They are lower this year and in strange places, e.g. the deck railings and stairs.

Take Care,
Kaye

Deer flies are awful! If the belief is true, it sounds like you are in for a whole lot of snow, Kaye! I keep trying to sit outside but it isn't working.

P.S.
What I meant to say was that the hornets are building low thus less snow. They usually are high in trees. I do not write/communicate as well as you.

I'm sorry you are so hot...we are watching a weather system which may become a hurricane...the sun has gone down and it is 80. Mercy is okay today and usually a happy girl.

e, hopefully the hurricane doesn't happen. I couldn't handle the threat of that. I happy Mercy is a happy girl!
