We finally had a light snowfall, leaving us with a fluffy covering of about 2 inches. If it's going to be cold, there may as well be snow. It looks so much nicer than the dull, depressing earth as it sleeps for the winter. I always feel better when sleeping Mother Earth has a nice blanket put over her during her slumber.
Fortunately for us, it's a small amount; the skidloader is gone for repair, so no way to plow ourselves out. Sometimes you just get a break!
I think today I will go into town and buy my little Christmas tree. I have purchased my tree from the St. Boni Lions Club since we moved here. I find a certain comfort in tradition, even such a
small tradition as where I buy the tree!

It is pretty in Dec. and quickly loses its appeal in Jan.! Hopefully you can get a 'little' white stuff.
