Haute Couture in Minnesota
It's dangerously icy today, which means it will be this way for some time to come. We both have the elder person socializing (doctors appointments) later this week. You would think using a cane would be stabilizing on ice, but it's not. The thing slides on the ice. We will see what kind of a circus that turns into.
I hope your world is on stable footing.

I hope you manage to stay upright! It's a yaktrax day.
I have yaktrax on a pair of snowboots permanently, be careful out there!
Let’s hope so. It’s been awhile since I’ve used those, Boud!
I did when I was doing the barn work, Far Side. I think I should rethink that, it's a good idea.
YakTraks. I wore them today while slogging around in the creek and up and down the icy places.
They stay on one pair of my chore boots.
Stay safe, be careful!
Ha! Ice here too so I got out my ski poles and they work perfectly going to and from the barn. Do you have ski poles?
I can see that others beat me to the same comment about grippers on the soles of your walking shoes, Sandra. It’s too bad they don’t make a cane with a mini one😉Hope you stay upright for all that necessary socializing, brrrr.
I echo the wishes for your safety out in the world and good luck with the senior socializing.
Val, the places where you walk, you'd better wear them!
Lori, not anymore. I was a downhill skier but gave away my equipment years ago. I can see how helpful they would be.
You''d think there would be, Beatrice. Perhaps there is and I just don't know it. It has become my social life.
e, thanks. I need all the help I can get, even in good wishes.
