Humbled

I started and finished this book yesterday.

Somehow he managed to make his personal tragedy into something ethereal. He was a beautiful writer.

I looked it up. What a powerful book.

I wonder if I could even read it. I'd like to.

Dawn, yes he died in 2015. It is a powerful story. It’s still sitting with me.

Val, you could read it. He may have been a neurosurgeon but he really was a writer. His wife finishing at the end kinda broke me a bit. But it’s worth it.

I've got it waiting on my Kindle for after Spare so much good writing, so little time.

Must be a good one:)

Boud, I’ve had Spare on hold for several months. It’s still a couple of months out. You will like this book.

Sandra, I know this is a powerful and moving story with such an inevitable ending, and for that reason I have not chosen to read it. Years ago, I read the book written by a man dying of pancreatic cancer, but can't recall the title or author. It was also a best selling book.

Beatrice, it's so well written it doesn't leave you feeling despondent. The saddest part was the end, with his wife talking about him on a personal level. He was a very good writer.
