My big boy, Howard, wanted to be an opera star.
I actually had a busy day yesterday. We went to North Minneapolis for lunch with Matthew and Kelley and granddoggie, Homer. We had a great time eating and talking and drinking sparkles. When we got home Gatto had not destroyed the house, so all was well in my world. Now we settle in for three more months, at least, of winter.
Mark starts radiation tomorrow. We are looking at perhaps a foot of snow overnight. Of course.
That's all the news fit to print.

Jeeze. Well that is not the weather report I'd like to hear. Send it to my house, I'm good for the week now.
We are supposed to get rain/ice starting this evening.
Yuck.
Love the video! It sure made me laugh!
I know. I'm supposed to get a load of bedding tomorrow. I'll probably need to reschedule. Mark needs to plug the diesel truck in to make sure he can get out tomorrow morning.
Howard was perfect for my silly Talking Pet videos. He was a living, breathing cartoon.
My oldest kid is Matthew, too. Although now he's Matt.
We don't have any grandchildren, we have grandkitties, Matt and his wife have two, Lyssa and her husband, one.
I'd be a wonderful grandma. But I've told my kids more than once that having a baby 'cause your mom wants grandchildren is NOT a good reason to reproduce.
We don't live in a wow-the-roads-are-scary-look-at-all-that-snow area, but when we get just a little snow/ice, people get very stupid. The end result is the same, we stay home a lot.
I hope your snow does not make it this far. We have rain coming on Tuesday and Wednesday, then it may get down to the 30s. So glad you were able to make it to your son's! Gatto....such talent!
Ami, mine is Matt to everyone but us. He's my only child, no grandchildren. They got married when they both were in their 40s, first marriage for both. And you are right, wanting grandchildren is no reason for them to have children! They have two cats and one spoiled Yorkie.
Even here, where we have harsh weather, people get stupid. It's the human condition.
I thought the dog was actually singing at first. Doh!
Glad you had a good visit.
Lori, it turns into a disaster if we have rain this time of year. A nightmare of ice that then has snow over it. I'll take the snow any day! It's been very mild where you are. Mark should be able to get out with the truck, if we actually get that much snow.
Pixie 😂 he was really good at singing the song of his people! I made a few of these using Howard. I miss that squishy guy a lot.
The get together with family sounded like a good time, Sandra, but the weather forecast does not. That said, I would prefer some snow to the rain here for the next 3 days. Hope all goes well with Mark’s treatment.
Beatrice, it has just started to snow so he won’t have trouble with that. This is the first radiation treatment so he’s a little nervous. We did have fun with the son. Rain this time of year is dangerous around here. It does happen.
We gave had rain as part of a weather system...I'm sorry the new cat destroyed your house but nice for you to have an outing.
Oh, no, e. He didn't destroy the house. I was worried he would. Sometimes I'm not clear. It was a good day.
